I wonder if it a way to identify a feature in a model tree when it is highlighted on the model.

I am still using 2008

Right-click and select Find in Broswer. You have to select the feature, not a face or edge. You can set the selection filter to Features so you can pick it in the window.

There is no "find.." in 2008, maybe in 2011
