I get this error alot when I try to save. Often it helps just to restart Inventor but I then loose all work.

What is the problem? How can I resolve it?

I can't see any pattern, it just happens randomly.

Any ideas are very much appretiated!

I'm running Inventor 2013 on Vista 64-bit

sounds like you are saving/working off a network drive and your system is loosing it's connection every now and then.

Yes, I forgot to mention! All files is on our server. I never had any problems with accesing the server or opening other files when this happens though?

Also, a restart of Inventor fixes the problem. No ideas?

you may have to work with your local IT or IS to resolve why your pc or Inventor looses the network connection.
