If I double click a workplane in the browser, the edit dimension dialog comes up half way off screen, does not remember the screen position if I move it, so it has to be repositioned every time.  Seems to be tied to the browser position.

            You didn’t mention which version of Inventor you where using or whether you’re using dual monitors or not. In any case you’ll want to start off with a repair to your installation of Inventor. If using dual monitors please switch back to a single monitor then do the repair. You can do that through your control panel and select the Inventor version your having an issue with. If that didn’t do it there are other steps we can take.

I did the repair installation in single screen mode, the edit dialog was fine, but as soon as I went back to dual screen mode the dialog box comes up halfway off screen as it was before.

Have you had any luck with this?  I have the same problem?  When my dual monitor was set up so that main was on left, second on right, it was fine.  Now i have changed my setup so that the main is on the right and this happens to me too.  A big nuisance.

I have  the same problem but it only happened after I tinkered with nView (nVidia dual monitor setup). 

After running nView and then putting everything back how it was, all my inventor dialogs started popping up on the wrong monitor. All the other dialogs just needed to be dragged to the correct monitor once to fix them but the dim edit box always pops up on the very edge of the wrong monitor (but at the correct height).

Is there a way to tell Inventor which display the dim edit dialog (the one in sketch mode) should pop up in?

Alternatively, anyone know how to switch the display names windows has assigned to my monitors? I'd like to see if that fixes things..

Just to be clear,

Inventor runs on Display 1 but  Edit Dimension dialog is stuck in primary Display 2:

OK new machine;  Win7 enterprise/64bit/dual monitors; same problem.

My start menu is on my 'main' screen (#2) and Inventor lives on screen 1.

My dimension entry dialog box and a few others always appear on screen 2
