    Edit Dimension Dialog

I recently had to uninstall / re-install my Inventor (2009).  Before I uninstalled, when I placed a dimension in my drawing the edit dimension dialog popped up and I could add text, tol etc... After I re-installed, I have lost this function.  Where did it go?

    Thank you very much

Is the "edit dimension when created" checkbox still checked?

(In Application options on the "drawing" tab)

    ...or Sketch tab

....or right click while in dimension in sketch.

This check box does not show up on my system. (2009 sp2)

As far as sketch and modeling, the dimension can be edited upon placement.  Only in the drawing environment have I lost this functionality.

Can you post a shot of your application options, drawing tab?

    I don't have 2009 installed here anymore.

If you right click on a dimension in a drawing and select edit, is there a box for "edit dimension when created" ?

You said you had to uninstall then reinstall inventor...

I can't check atm, but could it be that that functionality was added with a subscription bonus pack?

    Did you reinstall that too?
