    hello inventor gurus

i export  inventor 2013  files  as  STEP files,

but  instead of STEP files  i get

    3DSMAXDESIGN  BI-PED STEP files.

    when i open these 3DSMAXDESIGN BI-PED

STEP files  in inventor  the 3d models are not

    there ???

    any clues would assist.

    Make a 1mx1mx1m cube.

    Save as stp.

Attach the ipt and stp files here.

    Hi PUMPMANPLEE,

    Thanks for your report !

I suppose you use Inventor 2013 to create model and then export it to STEP format and from your description it seems nothing is imported. I need to check if your exported STEP file is good or corrupt if you can post your files here as JD's suggestion or directly contact me via Hongyuan.Li@autodesk.com .
