Hello all,
I was wondering how to have just the calculated weight of a part show up in
the BOM? Right now, all our part weights come in with the suffix "lbmass"
attached to them. We just want the weight of the part, such as "312" with
no units at all. Any ideas??

Patrick has a macro that will do the job. http://hjem.get2net.dk/opad/
Go to VBA/VB for Inventor and there is a Total Mass VB frm.
Beware that you have to add "TotalMass" to the custom properties in the
template file you use.
I have been using it and fairly happy. Patrick has promised improvements
I will post a picture of a idw that I have done under Calculated Weights in
CF.
