    Dimensions in sketch symbol

    Hello,

I need to create skech symbols to illustrate mounting schemes, so without scale. I need to put dimensions in the symbol, which are only annotation, not parametric. This dimension must be visible once the symbol inserted on the sheet.

When I create the dimension in the sketch, it is always a paramertric dimension, which drve the drawing and is not visible in the inserted symbol.. How can I do to have only an annotation ? (I precise the option "sketch only" does not function on dimensions)

You can set it as driven, it will not drive the symbol geometry but it will follow the geometry of the symbol anyway.
If you need to insert your own text I suggest to draw it (draw arrows and text) or draw the symbol and dims in autocad, explode them then insert them in the Inventor symbol sketch.

Even the dimensions are driven they don't appear.

broken dimension's text brought from Autocad broken become so crap and dimmed in view and prints.

    Any other solution?
