I trying to figure out a way of dimensioning a curve for fabrication in inventor. Anyone have any suggestions? The way i have done this before was to provide a chart of X and Y dimensions of points along the curve. See the attached drawing.

What version on Inventor are you using, I know in Inventor 2013 there is a feature for this.
Windows 7 64 Bit
ATI FirePro V5800
14.0 GB RAM

why not just dimension the center points of the arcs, the radius' of the arcs, and give some overall dimensions.
giving a few reference x-y points could be helpful if someone is laying it out by hand.

interesting, any chance you could supply the model?
how did you generate the curves in the model?

For true arcs you could define the X,Y coordinates of the center points, the radii and the start and end coordinates of the chain.
You could alternatively define the start and end X,Y coordinates of the start and end points of each arc, with the Radii, this should be enough for someone to set out.
Finally you could define the start X,Y start and end point of the chain with with chord length and radii.
If the arcs, aren't arcs but Ellipses you will need to define both center points.
If the arcs aren't arcs, but splines then you would be much better off providing a full size paper plotted template, or just send the profile to CNC.
It all really depends on who is going to use the information - in your case I would phone them up and ask!
I hope that this is helpful,
