Is it possible in Inventor to dimension an arc's
    true length?

In a sketch, I mean.  I think I've done it on
    drawings.

In an IDW its as easy as a RMB before placing the dim,

In an IPT its not doable without math formulas

Crap. That's how I had to do it in MDT. Here's a vote for an 'arc length'
sketch dimension in a future release....

I'd be working the other way... you use the angle and radius to find arc
length; I would use radius and arc length to find the angle. Can you post
an example of that? I just imported my adjustable arc from MDT, but I'd
like to see your solution. Thanks...

I posted an example on 05/13/02 "Chord length of arc"
    See if that helps.
