    Hi,
Can somebody help me how to constraint an 'O'rin into an 'O'ring groove. I've placed an "Mate" between the two axis but I can not stop the 'O'ring from moving along the rod.
    Thank you

This really needs to be in one of the support NGs..
    but...

You need to reference a workplane on the oring to
another surface on the shaft.  Use one of the origin planes or make a new
    user plane on the oring.

I have a hydraulic cylinder assembly, The Body and the ram are separate
assemblies inserted into a larger assembly. One end is in place and
constrained with an axis mate, such as a pin inserted. I go to mate the axes
of the other end an I get an error. This is unfinished but I will try to
post the assembly. I have never posted one so any advice would help as this
    is a large file.
    Thanks

I am not sure I understand what level the parts are on, but you may have to turn on
adaptivity in one of the subs to get it to move. Can you drag it at all with the mouse?

How large is large? open each part, and roll the eop marker to the top, and then zip it
all up. Should make it smaller. Customer files max is 10 mb, but you aren't going to get
to many people downloading something that big even.
