    Classic UI in Inventor 2012??

My computer got stuck while working in Design Assistant 2012 (AutocadM 2012, Inv 2012, Excel 2010 and Outlook 2010 were also open). I had to hard reset and restart. After restarting opened AutocadM and Inventor at the same time. Opened Design Assistant 2012 and found some files needs migration. closed Inv and opened Tak Scheduler. Converted files. Opend Inventor. Voila, Inventor opened in Classic UI. See attached screen captures.

Any comments from anyone else? This is a new PC with Win 7 64bit and Office 2010. No previous version of Autodesk software on it.

Autodesk Product Design Suite Premium 2013
    Microsoft Windows 7 Professional 64bit SP1
    Gigabyte P67A-UD3R-B3, Core i7-2600K CPU
    8.00GB DDR3, NVIDIA Quadro 2000

This can happen when the Task Scheduler process itself crashes or got terminated in the middle of finishing a task.

After that, the next Inventor session will be set to Classic UI.

By the way, if you set back the Ribbon UI, in the Application Options, Colors tab, Interface Style and restart Inventor, you should get the Ribbon back (but, I’m sure you’ve already done it).

    Kind regards,

    Alessandro
