    Cinepak Codec by Radius

Since I can no longer specify the codec for recording in R6, perhaps
someone knows where the default codec is set? On my PC, Inventor seems
to be exporting to the "Cinepak Codec by Radius". Wasn't Radius the MAC
    video company (with financial problems)?

Seems to me that there should be a means of setting up this default.

When Autodesk goes to "fix" this, I would also like to see a better
means of setting up the output frame rate. Another input box in the
animation and drive constraint dialogs would suffice.

It is currently defaulting to 15 fps which is not what I want either. I
have always liked the concept of being able to set the frame rate myself
so I can end up with a mathematically predictable animation. Currently
I post process all my animations which can become a bit tedious.
    Please use plain text.

Charles I was told that Cinepac is indeed the default codec.

Yes, I figured that out but is there a way of changing it? I looked in
the registry and on the Microsoft site. Near as I can tell, it is the
default because it starts with the letter C and all the rest use higher
letters in the alphabet. If this is the case, then I would need to
delete all except the one I want because it is the last on the list.
    (TechSmith / Camtasia)

To make it more interesting, I just got TechSmith signed off as a
standard for our company (no small feat) and now Inventor can't use it.
    Doh!

Control Panel -> Multimedia -> Hardware ->Video Codecs ->Properties -> Properties delete all except
    TSCC.
(You already new that though )

Sorry didn't read close enough. Hopefully John's suggestion will make this
work. I'm a bit bummed about this change too. Let me know if you have
    agonizing slow record times.
