Change patterned component iproperties via iLogic

I'm working on a main assembly. I want to edit the iproperties of components within a sub-assembly, this is fine for "RING:1"

    iProperties.Value("RING:1","Project", "Description")="A79-H020B001"

but I get an error message when i try to edit the iproperties of a patterned component within the sub-assembly, any guesses???

    Thanks,

    Lewis

I created one top assembly with sub-assembly with pattern included, and used the iLogic rule you provided. But it can't be reproducible. So could you attach the dataset or send it to me @ river-yijiang.cai@autodesk.com for further investigation?
