    Can't create a new file for autodesk 2012

    autodesk doesnt allow me to create a new file! it pops out a system error. can anyone assist me? I checked the system requirements and my computer fulfills it.

    Check to make sure you have rights to create files in the folder.

    Can you post a screen shot of the error?

    Did it ever work?
    Did you install with UAC and anti-virus turned off?
    Have you installed Service Pack 1?

    whats autodesk 2012? there is no such product called that

    autodesk is the name of the company not a name of a product

    it did for two or three times I have tried restoring my comp to a earlier timing but it didnt work. Currently i do not have UAC and i have not installed my antivirus, thus i do not think thats an issue. Yes i have downloaded service pack 1 as instructed.
