I found the update icon, but highlighting the view
in the browser and then updating does not solve the problem on my
drawings. Also, after changing to hidden lines removed and back to shading
solves most of the problems, there remain small remnants of lines that should
not show. These are the worst near filleted corners for me. Shaded
views were so handy in 5.3, but they sure have become a pain with
R6.

Dottie - YES - that trick worked for me (at
least on the first drawing I tried it on). Hopefully it will continue to
clear up this problem on the other drawings! THANK
YOU!!!!!!

I believe that if you highlight the view
in the browser and click on the Update button, it will accomplish the same
thing--and you should not see any bleed-through when you print after doing
the Update.
