    I see that autodesk lists Quadro 2000 as a video card. I was looking at its benchmark and it seems pretty low.  I found a Gigabyte GV-R7870C-2GD Radeon HD 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossfireX Support Video Card.  The Quadro is ranked 107th and the Gigabyte is ranked 7th.

    I'm wondering if I would have any issues with using the Gigabyte instead.

    I have the exact Gigabyte 7870 2GB and I love it.  Runs Inventer very well in IV2010 and IV2012, no problems yet.  I ran an Inventor benchmark comparing my former Quadro FX 1500 and here are the results:

    Inventor6 benchmark using an 800 part assembly

    Quadro FX 1500 256mb

    Shaded= 6.9 fps

    Hidden= 2.4 fps

    Wireframe= 5 fps

    Multi-windows= 9.4 fps

    Average= 5.9 fps

    AMD 7870 2gb

    Shaded= 19.4 fps

    Hidden= 7.1 fps

    Wireframe= 17.1 fps

    Multi-windows= 26.1 fps

    Average= 17.4 fps

    I agree, we went from Quadro FX to the GTX and the results are that our performance is at least as good if not better, for a fraction of the cost.

    Hi,

    How many part count in your assembly?

    I been using Inventor for long but I only use Quadro FX card and they cost a lot Vs game card.

    I am wondering if you have some game card that you recomend.

    I am currently use Quadro FX4800 and I open assembly around 100,000 parts and it is not very well when rotated the assembly but it work. I am looking for something better.

    I have try the Quadro Flex 7000 double video card built in one box and it seem not better than my 4800 yet.

    Thanks

    My company use all Quadro FX for Inventor

    FX1500 for co-op

    FX3800 & FX3800M for laptop

    FX4800 for larger assembly 100,000 parts or above.
