    Just delete the iPart table.

When the table is deleted will convert the intelligent component in a normal part.

    That's it?

    Hi,

    Thanks for your response.

Ideally, I would like to keep the iPart but not have it authored. Being authored as a Tube & Pipe Component I can't place the iPart into an Assembly and change between sizes of the iPart. This feature only works in the Tube & Piping environment.

You seem very knowledgable...i have another weird question for you? Is there a way to remove solid bodies from a part file. For example...i have created a part file that has around 30 features and counting. Towards the end i accidently clicked on create new solid button and now have a new solid...but i didn't realise that i did this. I then continued creating further features and now find limitations in what i am doing. Can i reverse the Solid body so that its just a regular feature????

    Hi Miguel,

    Please, try the following.

    • Drag the End of Part below the feature you has created as solid.
    • Edit the feature and change it to a normal one.
    • Then, drag the EoP under the feature below, possibly one by one.

Hopefully, the majority of the feature will recalculate correctly while few others need to be redefined as you can see in the video attached.

    I hope it helps.

    Kind regards,

    Alessandro
