Assembly of tiny parts on big building !

Most of the mechanical parts I'm modeling in IV are tiny, less than 1"
dimension. However, once a while I want to show the customer how the parts
can be installed in a big building, say around 100 m long and 20 m width. If
I am going to create an assembly file for these parts and the building, how
should I set up the environment to make sure the IV wouldn't take too much
time to create 2D dwg from this assembly.
