Hi,

Is it possbile to spread text gathered from the part description on 2 lines? cause on 1 line is in this case to long.

Yes but you have to make it a symbol and use text box put a dimension on the text box to control the text wrap.

There is another way but I can't find my cheat sheet that tells me how. There is a character you can place in the description and then you don't need to make a symbol but I can't remember.. If I find it I'll post..

Another option is to make use of the part's COMMENTS iproperty.

In the past, I have utilized this iproperty for part descriptions so I could "break up" a long single line of text.

Simply use the ENTER key to break the text up as desired.

It's a workaround, but it does the trick for those clients of mine with long-winded part descriptions.
