Somebody help me.

I can't find the air trap analysis for 2012. it says it does not run such analysis in 3D. For some parts however, it did run. Is there any way to solve this problem???

Well, run the 2.5D flow analysis on the surface mesh defined by the 3D mesh. It should show the airtraps.

Okay, and how do i do that exactly?

Select your study.

Right click on the 3 D Mesh label:

In the Pull-down menu select Set Mesh Type.

Choose Dual Domain.

The label now is is Dual Domain Mesh. If the surface mesh were present, you would see some some none zero number of elements. If the surface mesh was not stored in the study you would see 0 elements:

Right click on it once more and select "Generate mesh".

After meshing is finished start the analusis and enjoy the Air Trap plot.
