Autodesk Inventor

Hi!.

I have big problem, I want export ASD model to Inventor.

Today I do it like this:

1/ save ASD model as ACIS solid

2/ I open ACIS.dwg file in ACAD Mechanical and I export this model to STEP file

3/ In Inventor open STEP file or I Import ACIS file

But this method has many many problems because When I generate 2d documentation in Inventor, I must wait long time!! Model is very "haevy". For example for 10 000 parts I have to wait sometimes 30 minutes, sometimes 2 hr for one view.

I tried all expotr and conversion methods.(acis, dwx, step, iges) used Inventor, mechnical, fusion....!!!

Do you know other methods export asd to inventor, which it is easy and faster .....
