Will an AIS6 licence file allow AIS5(IV5.3) to run until I can get to each
    user to upgrded?

    TIA

    Jerry,
You can easily concatenate the license files so you have both available
    simultanously.

Thanks Leo, that looks like an easy solution.

I just looked at how to combine the license files, but still have one
    question.

We currently have a license file for 7 seats of AIS5, which is being
    upgraded to AIS6.

If I get the license file for the 7 seats of AIS6 and combine the two
license files, will it allow 7 seats of each to run or will it know to only
allow 7 seats total (comvbination of the two versions) to run?.

    Thanks

    Jerry

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, please.
The combined license file will contain your old licenses and your new
licenses simultanously, so you should be able to run 7 seats of AIS5 and 7
seats of AIS6 at the same time. The aditional lines in the license file do
    not overwrite the upper lines.
For example, I have a combined license file for 2 seats AIS5 and 2 seats of
AIS6, and I can run all 4 at the same time (I tested it only for 3 seats,
    because I haven't more PC's right now)

Wouldn't this cause me to violate my license, or am I allowed to do it only
    during the upgrade?
I only have a license for 7 seats of AIS.

Refer to the license agreement, but there is a period of time (length of
time escapes me) where you can have both releases installed.

Now I understand I can run both during the upgrade and just remove the old
    one when done.
