2011 SP1 Student License Reproducab le Crash

Go to Manage
Create Components
Select the 3 solid bodies.
I see the assembly for a second and then crash. No files created.

Unloaded the 3DA (3D Annotation technology preview add-in from labs) and crash went away.

There is a new version of the 3DA Prototype that will be posted soon that should avoid the "Make Components" problem in the future. A number of other issues and enhancements are addressed in this version.
In the meantime, if your workflow makes use of the "Make Components" command and you have the 3DA Prototype installed this crash will occur. It is recommended that you unload/de-install the 3DA Prototype and wait for the update before re-installing.
