    Autodesk,

Can you add a selection option in Publisher just like Inventor has.

Selection for Part or Assembly maybe feature or edge.

In the larger assembly wirh a lot of sub assembly some time you want to the sub or turn it of this selection option would help alot.

    Thanks

Do you mean selecting items in the Canvas in the top left of the working area?

Unless you can sort a workaround with the Select > Save Selection option, then no.

Make it a suggestion.  We might get it with representations, but don't hold your breath. :smileyindifferent:

Thanks for reading my post and reply the post.

Why do we have to make a suggestion how they design thier software?

They shuold be smart enough to know the feature required to find part / assembly in the browser or quickway to turn it on or off in the graphic windown or move the sub assembly.

This feature are in Autodesk Inventor for long time.

    Where are you Autodesk Engineer?

    Thanks

    Hi Steve,

Thanks for your post. Considering we are a different program than Inventor, we do not necessarily have the same goals as Inventor, as our application is for a very different purpose. But we always appreciate customer input, as this is the only way we know what you (the customer) wants. There is a new selection function in Publisher 2013 called "select parents' which you might find helpful at this time. You can read about it, and all of the other enhancements in 2013 here on our WikiHelp:

    Thanks

My company just stop the subscription for this year.
