Hi,

Publisher 2013 SP2 - Creating a new snapshot and the detail view in the active snapshot is not copied across. When the snapshot is copied and pasted the detail view is also omitted. It is important for one of our customers that the detail view on both old and new snapshots match exactly. Is this as designed? The workaround we are using now is to right click and copy the detail view, then paste into the new snapshot using a copied over callout/image (which will maintain its exact position) as an alignment aid.

Thanks for your post. This workflow is as-designed, detail views do not survive in a copy of a Snapshot. Great idea for a workaround for your particular customer - kudos!
