I started a BOMTables and selected piping accordingly, When it displayed the table in placed each component in it own row with a quantity of 1, such that I had 4 rows of 14" LR Elbows each with a quantity of 1 rather than 1 row with a quantity of 4.
How do we reduce the size of the table as you can imagine in is very large?

By the sounds of it, you have 4 different elbows. This means that there are 4 different member files for these parts.
If all 4 parts are "physically" the same and you want them to use the same member file, then you will need to check to properties and parameters to make sure that they are not different.
