extracting text from .notepad file?

Good Morning All,

I'm in the process of creating an external iLogic rule and would like to extract part of the contents of .notepad text file to use in my rule as a string. Is this possible?

Hi,

If the content of the notepad file follows the format of iLogic code, you could just read the text stream (Windows API) to get the content and paste to your new iLogic rule.

We have a plugin which produces some codes and add it to the iLogic rule. Probably it helps you.
