I have changes in my application options and export that profile

How can i see which profile is loaded.

And can i change the pad to the folder Preference where the profile is placed.

I placed the folder to the server so everybody is working whit the same profile.

I don't think there is a way. I have been doing Inventor from the start and wish there was a way.

As far as I know once the profile is loaded it just changes the default profile in the regerstery  it does not need to see the profile anylonger.

So there is no mapping of the profile so if you make a change all users get the change will not happen you would have to import the profile again to evey user.

But all the files are stored in a folder.

Isn't there a link?

Nope all that does is set the registry when you 1st load Inventor. Then if you make your own it changes the registry and the file is no longer needed. It just lets you export it so you can go to the users and update their profile.

You have to remember that the profile has the name of the user so if all profiles were mapped to the same profile the name in all parts would be your name not their name.

All the file does is change the registry and is no longer needed...

This is just used so you don't take 2 hours on each machine changing the paths. you can do it all at once. and you just change the user name..
