Saving parts to new file location.

I have only been using Inventor since late winter so I consider myself quite a noob still.  I have create a "master" folder with an assembly, drawing, and excel cutlist.  This folder also contains sub folders with the sub-assemblies and parts.

In my master assembly I created ILogic rules to change dimensions of the parts, to select different profiles and to select different sub assembly configurations (on/off).  It works fine as is.

Now, the idea was to copy the whole "master" folder and rename it to a job, launch the master assembly and configure it, then save it.  The issue is that, even though the master assembly is in a new folder, it still references the sub-assemblies and parts from the "master" folder.  How do I write a rule to "save as" all these sub-assemblies and parts to the new location?

I've attempted this sort of thing before.  Personally I guess I would use "Pack and Go" whether programmically or manually.  It has options to keep folder structures and repoints all files to the new structure.

Another option would be to dump all the files into one target folder (without sub folders) you can copy a previously saved project file into the folder that has "." as the working folder.  It will reference everything copied to the single target folder.

    Hi JeremyEccleston,

Assuming that you are using Inventor 2011 or later, I think you can employ the iLogic Design Copy  tool to get what you're after.

    I hope this helps.

I appreciate both of you taking the time to point me in some directions for a solution.  I will look into them as they both seem promising.  Hopefully, in the future, I will be able to repay your efforts.

The ILogic Copy Design tool is just the thing!  Thank you so much.  The Pack and Go looks like it would work but would take an extra step to then unpack it.  Thank you both so much.
