Anybody have any idea why the paper size won't set to A1. See attached clip
and picture of the printer default setting.

Anybody? It seems to only be certain printers that won't set to A0 or A1
even though those sizes are listed in their drivers. I believe some
printers through an error when being set but PDFCreator just acts like
everything worked fine even though it didn't.

Brian or Sanjay, any feedback on what might be causing certain printers to
not accept certain papersizes as is shown in the AVI?

I thought I had responded to this but I must not have. I was able to
reproduce the problem on my side and filed a change request so it can be
investigated further. It looks like some of the sizes always fail, even
when the printer will support them.

I don't see where this is listed in the SP1 readme. Did it not get
addressed?

Does anyone know if this has been fixed in 2011?  I seem to have the same problem and I don't know how to track the issue with the ID.  Thx.

Yes, I am still seeing the issue.  I am printing to a "KONICA MINOLTA C650 Series PCL".  We are using the appropriate driver for a 64-bit machine.  I've attached a snippet of code.  Every print is coming out 8-1/2 x 11 (the default paper size).

Thanks!

Which paper size you want to print? And can you check if this printer driver supports the paper size you choose from API. I have a similar driver "Sharp  MX-M620N PCL6" which supports the A3 and smaller sizes.

letter and ledger size. it picks ledger size paper in the routie. after it submits to printermanager, it changes to letter size.

when I print document by using hp printer(hp 8150) or pdf tool(pdf creator), it works well. it comes out ledger size as expected.

how to check if this printer driver supports the paper size?

thanks for reply.

To check the paper sizes the printer supports you can find it with below steps:

1. Right click the printer in your Devices and Printers.

2. Choose Printing preferences.

3. Click the Advanced... button.

4. Click the Paper/Output->Paper Size dropdown, you can see the paper size list the printer supports.

For the issue your printer always prints the Letter size even you choose the Ledger size, can you double check with the Inventor UI print function? If you can reproduce this with Inventor UI function that would be a UI issue.
