Does anyone know how to place an assembly with imates into another assembly using VBA.  I have tried using "AddUsingiMates" but this fails.  I can place the assembly with imates manually and everything works as it should, but this command, supposedly equivalent to this task, does not.  I should mention that AddUsingImates works fine with parts so I an thinking I need to use a different command.  Thanks.

It sounds like it might be a problem with the API.  Can you post a simple test case that can be used to reproduce the problem?  Or you can send it directly to me at brian.ekins@autodesk.com and I'll see if I can reproduce it and file a change request if it is a real problem.
