I have finally received authorization to upgrade to Inventor, but I'm wondering what modification I'm going to have to do in order for the extensive amount of LISP programs to work with Inventor.

Lisp will not work with Inventor. VBA or C++ are your options. Even if lisp did work in
Inventor your programs probably wouldn't port over at all..... Inventor is a totally
different program than AutoCAD.

Chad Wanless is working on Sharp Lisp. Take a look at
http://www.objectdcl.com/

I'll believe it when I see it.

One thing that I will say is that Mr. Wanless tends to
play a bit too fast and loose with the facts:

"Significantly less code is required the VB and VBA in
AutoCAD. Just as an example retrieving a selection set
in VBA requires 45 lines of code."

Which is complete hogwash.

I think the thing to do is chalk it up to experience and be thankful that you
contributed. I have about 200K lines of C VB and Lisp which are of little value
for Inventor but it was fun while it lasted and made lots of people happy. Time
to move on.
