I have an assembly that consists of two subassemblies which are replaced by rules when certain conditions are met. I have some rules that reside in the top level assembly that deal with replacing the subassemblies and other rules that reside in the subassemblies, and even parts, that deal with feature suppressions. Every so often one of the rules does not fire and I must open the subassembly or subassembly part and run the rule. Are there any rules and regulations as to where rules should reside depending on what they do?
