Road from Shapefile as Bridge

Hello all,
I'm bringing in a shape file consisting of roads. I already have an image and a DEM file in my model. What I would like to do is have the roads that cross the river be displayed as bridges but when I change the style from whatever it was on import to bridge, it still follows the elevations of the surface. If I delete it and draw it as a bridge, it looks like a bridge. Is there any way to accomplish what I'm looking for? I really don't want to delete it because I lose all the data associated with that piece of road.
Here's an image of what I have: http://screencast.com/t/J6bRrZzZ
Here's what I want (without deleting and redrawing like I did to get this): http://screencast.com/t/eNODH1C0p
Thanks,

Did you already split the feature so that the bridge is broken out from the rest of the road? Once you do that, you can drag it vertically, and it will stop following the elevation below, but it will create a smart connection to the road that it was part of.

From the style panel, pick and drag the Bridge road style and drop it onto the road which you want to become a bridge.

Brian,
Being the power user you are, you probably already know you can get all kinds of free 3d bridges from places like TurboSquid or even Google Sketchup and convert them to a format AIM can read. Even though Turbosquid is a pay site, there are quite a few free ones to download that are high quality.

I did that. The problem is that the bridge now follows along the ground (goes down to the river and then back up again). I'll look into some other option such as downloading something from the sketchup warehouse.
Thanks for all the suggestions everyone!

You can select the bridge and raise the vertices of the polyline using the light blue cone grip. Or you can raise the whole section by dragging the Z part of the triad grip.

Which grip do I grab to raise the middle of the bridge? http://screencast.com/t/CltWcuRdYgs

Hmmmm, it's strange that it's doing that with the bridge style. Either way, you can right click the red centerline in the middle of the selected bridge and use the Add Vertex option, which will then give you a vertex in the middle that you can drag up.
