    Customising road styles

    HI,

I am attempting to create realistic looking road styles. The issue I have run into is putting custom textures on road surfaces. I would like to be able to put a striped texture in the middle of the road (as shown in the raster below) but I can't seem to find a way to change the top surface category in the road editor (even in the XML). Is there a way to insert custom matrials into road surfaces?

    Thanks :smileyhappy:

Worked it out.. was right there in front of me. :smileyhappy: I needed to choose the default material group on the road editor, which I could then add new categories to and then asign the materials to each category.

Couldn't find a good way to have slopping lines on the texture (due to how they are handled around corners etc. so went with horizontal ones, which looks ok.
