Is there any way to control the location of the bridge supports? I don't think people driving down this road would appreciate this:

So it can only be done at the style level? I suppose that's not the end of the world. I can copy a style, assign it to the bridge, adjust the settings, etc.

Currently style level control only is correct.

Only being new to AIM, can you give some quick guidance on how to develop the style for the street/bridge as per the screen shot?

On the home tab. select style palette.  Then find the roads tab.  Select the pencil icon to open a style, changing the type to from road to bridge or tunnel will adjust the available options for the style.
