How does Impression interact with Architectural Desktop? To use Impression, should the dwg's be converted to 2D? Is Impression intended to be used only for site plan presentation?

Impression can read ADT files and handle 3D views.
On import, it converts the ADT objects into base AutoCAD objects. This is the equivalent of the AECTOACAD command in AutoCAD.
If the view is a perspective view, the hidden line removal is performed, simiilar to the HIDE command in AutoCAD.
