Impression 3 closes with Out of video memory error after screen saver start

We have just started using Impression and one user is having some odd issues, the first time this happened he had walked away from his PC for a couple hours, failed to save the file before he left, and lost several hours of work
the next time it happened his screen saver came on and when he came back out of the screen saver Impression had an error stating that the program had run out of video memory and would now close (thankfully this time he had recently saved so he only lost a little bit of work.
Is anyone else seeing odd errors/crashes when the screen saver comes on? It is possible that both of these were coincendital and weren't caused by the screen saver but so far that appears to be the common thread.
The user in question is running a Dell Precission M6300 with a Nvidia Quardo FX3600m video card (512mb of video memory on card), 4gb of ram, and 2 @ 2.4ghz zeon processors
