I can't seem to make my color dialog box appear...I've tried help, and of course as usual it's not 'helpful'. I really like some of the features of this, but the way the tools are hidden is NOT one of them.

Can someone PLEASE tell me how to make the dialog box appear?!?

    Hi Raynatucher,

my guess is the Color Dialog did open but it is opened somewhere outside the screen. (in that case, you will find you cannot continue operating untile you press Esc key)

if so, you may try deleting the default.xml file to reset Impression settings.

You will find this file under (Windows XP)
    C:\Document and Settings\\Local Settings\Application Data\Autodesk\Impression\2.0\enu\

    (vista)
    C:\Users\\AppData\Local\Autodesk\Impression\2.0\enu

if this cannot resolve your problem, please provide more info (steps to get this problem, any abnormal screenshots, etc), we will see if there's any other possible issues.

    cheers,

    -Jonny

Jonny's suggestion should work - but note that if you delete default.xml you may lose other custom settings you've made and will be restored to a UI "factory default'.

Check all around your screen - resize the Impression window to make it smaller and look in the corners - also if you're on a second monitor, check the primary to be sure it's not there.
