I have an HP 1220C color printer, an HP Laserjet 5000, a Kip 3000 plotter and an HP Designjet 500ps.
I have an Impression drawing that I want to plot.
I send an 11x17 to the 1220C. Color, looks great.
I send an 11x17 to the Laserjet 5000. B&W, looks great.
I send to the Kip 3000, Nothing happens.
I send to the Designjet 500ps. Nothing happens.
Why can I not get the Impression drawing straight to the plotters>
I create a pdf from Impression, goes to the plotters.
    Why?

Hi - we don't have any Kip plotters to test with here. what's different about them or their plot drivers, and has anyone else had the same problem with a Kip device?

    thanks,
    shana

    Shana,
    Thanks for the reply.
You know, some days you just have to wonder if you wouldn't be better off working the front door at Walmart.
I tried for 2 days to get something to plot to the Kip and the HP 500, but nothing. My Kip even gave me error reports that the file type was unknown and therefore Verbotten.
Last Thursday we instlalled a new printer, a Savin C2525, color copy, printer, scanner. So I was setting it up this morning, printed an Impression drawing, looks great. So I did another to the Lexmark. Still great. The Deskjet 1220C, again, great. The Laserjet 5000, B&W, but a great print.
So for grins and giggles I printed to the Kip.
And to the HP 500 PS.
Okay, so go figure, this morning I get great looking plots.
Did the same exact thing each time. Differant results.

Good morning, welcome to Walmart. Let me put a smile on that face.
