Direct editing / variations on styles

I've attached an image which I produced to demo impression to the people I work with.

A couple of things that would have made this much easier to produce:

    1) The ability to quickly change the angle of the fill strokes. I can do it by using the style editor, but it's a bit sluggish and interrupts the workflow. Some kind of in-place grip editing would be great.
    2) Being able to vary the colour of an object in a similiar way. Maybe if you select a shape a floating slider next to it to adjust the HSB values?
    3) Some shapes don't lend themselves well to the stroked fill, such as the triangles. Maybe if you traced over them with an impression polygon it could offer different rules for drawing around the edges?
    4) Depending on how the CAD drawing is put together, selecting individual lines to change the stroke style of can be difficult, or just not possible (e.g. they're part of a polyline in CAD). In addition to the object and layer selection tools, could we have a segment selection tool?

Forgot to say that number 2 would still reain links back to the style. e.g. if I have a style with a blue fill and tweak an entity to be a lighter blue, then change the style to green the entity becomes light green.
