Hi,
It would be nice if Impression could retain Xref clipping from autoCAD drawings.
I know it is possible to redefine the viewports, etc to create the same effect, but I would like to use impression for hundreds of individual room drawings which I produce in AutoCAD, and reconfiguring Viewports on a large amount of drawings is going to be far too time consuming to make the use of impression viable for this use.
Regards,
Craig.

I've run into this problem myself and I believe that function is on the wishlist, so stay tuned.
Just a thought that worked on one project I was working on: A "brute force" solution is to render your whole base plan drawing in impression and save it out as an image file that could be scaled and re xrefed into your other drawings. It's probably a messier process than you'd like to go through, but it did work for me.
