Missing Exterior Walls when exporting to eQuest

We have been trying to utilize GBS to push forward a NetZero project in our office. However we have been running into a constant problem of the program either not exporting back to eQuest for more through analysis. Or when it does export there are no exterior walls.
Currently we are still in a conceptually phase, though this model is more detailed and regimented than most would be to this point. Is there a way we can get this information out of our model and into eQuest efficiently? Are we going to have to create two different models in order to use GBS? One technical design model, and one simplified exporting modeling?
