Hello,
I have two questions about AGDS related to raster images, (my company is
considering the use of AGDS):
- The raster images are stored on the Oracle database, or this is optional?
- What formats for georeferenced raster files are supported? the same
Autodesk Map supports?
Thanks.

The range of attribute data in a GIS Design Server enterprise database can
include links to raster-based image files. . Images are useful as reference
aids for the other geographic data in the database.
Many images are plane-georeferenced, which means that they represent an area
of the earth. Images such as satellite photos are useful as underlays or
overlays for spatial data that occupies the same area.
For GIS Design Server, Autodesk Map handles the raster data, such as aerial
photos or scanned graphics, the image is not stored in the database just a
link to the image files, therefore the formats for georeferenced raster
files supported are the same as Autodesk Map
