Autodesk GIS Design Server

Hi,

I'm having a problem in installing the GIS Design
Server 7 on Windows 2000 Professional.

I've installed Oracle Enterprise 8.1.7 typical
installation and Oracle Client administrator installation.

Also I've completed the pre- installation found on
"installing_win2k" PDF file.

But I got the " Unable to connect to oracle"
message & the installation aborts, although I could connect to the oracle
using sql+.

Here are the two log files from the installation

Sherine,

There appears to be some problem with the 'sys'
login. I notice you're entering the password as 'change_on_demand', when the
normal one in the manual is 'change_on_install'.

Try going into sqlplus and logging in as sys, using
the pasword 'change_on_demand'. If this does not work try 'change_on_install'.
If this works then you need to re-run the installation using the correct
password for sys.

If this does not work then I suggest you log a
support call with whoever is responsible for supporting your
product.
