Autodesk Freewheel

I am researching Freewheel because it appears that it can do what I need it to do, namely add a rotatable 3D model to a web page.  My employer's IT department has expressed reservations as to the possibility of data theft in that environment.  Is there someone familiar with Freewheel who can comment on this issue?
