connectors

I have a part made with a connector on both sides and four insertion points.
When i place the parts the connectors do not seem to work well.
The head sides are not close together.
Does anyone have an idea, do I have the connectors placed on another place?

Has it something to do with the direction of the triad?

Your drawings are only as good as the symbols that complete them...

Hi,

I help modify the connector as attached. Based on the model, the Z direction should be vertical with landing sureface and the X direction should be with model length direction. while we can ignore the Y direction definition.

Thanks,

Please mark as a solution if somehow I got it right.

Thanks,

Are the directions of the Z,X,Y always the same?

Can it be differunt by other parts?

In general, the X direction will be vertical to the edge or face selected. However, the directions will should be changed to adjust to how the asset connect to another.
