    Link parameters in iMate

I have two parts made of Sheet Metal.
In the sketch of the Face I made an offset and linked to a parameter.
The intention is that I want to use the offset in a iMate to the thickness of the paint line to be determined.
I want my parts placed with the netto size and the imates use the lakdikte to give as yet on the total size to get.
I have the parameters associated with excel.
For the panel I have two parameters linked in a new parameter and placed the parameter in the offset of the iMate.
When I place the bandraster and then the panel i can not use that imates.
If I have a single parameter in the iMate , so no associated parameter, then it works well only I have the lakdikte of the two parts are not connected and I have to retrofit.
Why can't I place a associated parameter in an iMate ?

Your drawings are only as good as the symbols that complete them...

    Hi Jos,

Maybe that is the issue which related to the iMate. I will double check with the Inventor QA and update on you later.

Sorry for the inconvenience that will take to you.

    Thanks,

    Thanks for your concern.
I have now also another solution.
I now use work planes with an offset and the offset I have a parameter linked to the paint thickness to control.
On the work planes I place  now the iMates.
