FACTORY FORMULATION FOR ENERGY

Hi, I'm trying to understand what is mean of the different report results of "transportation" and "Machine".

I am trying to reproduce a concrete batch plant with 2D Layout factory.

I have a Sand BIN, a Cement Silo and a Concret Mixed.

To try I put the Mixer with a energy consumption 1kW.

Then at the Routings for the operation of mixer I put 60minutes.

There are two Mixer Jobs, then I think could be 120 minutes.

When I display the "Machine" report appears 250KWH.

I have tried every way, and cannot understand why happens this.

Any idea?

Attached the file.

Hi,

Let me explain that:

Total Power Consumption (kW.h) = (setup time + processing time) * Part Quantity * Energy Consumption Rate at each operation for all jobs
(Unit of setup and process time should be converted to Hour.)

For Job arena:
Step time =0+0=0
Process Time=0+60min=60min=1hour
Total Power Consumption (kW.h)_arena=(0+1hour)*150*1KW=150KW.H

For Job cemento:
Step time =0+0=0
Process Time=0+60min=60min=1hour
Total Power Consumption (kW.h)_cemento=(0+1hour)*100*1KW=100KW.H

So Total Power Consumption for all jobs= 150+100=250KW.H

Thanks,

-Xuesong

Please mark as a solution if somehow I got it right.

Thanks Xuesong,

It is enough to solve my question.

Do you think that this equation may be explained at wikihelp?

Thanks
