Error message when mirroring assets

Hello there,

recently FDS started to display error messages when mirroring

assets. It seems like some parameters are´nt exported properly

anymore. As we used the assets in other assemblies without

getting error messages we´re wondering what went wrong. The

errors don´t have any effect on eihter appearance and performan-

ce and the asset properties can still be changed, but it would be

good to know why this happens and what we need to change or

avoid, to stop this from happening.

I´ve attached a sscreenshot of the design doctor output to clarify

Hi Daniel,

The reason is the original asset which is derived by mirrored asset cannot be updated automitically. I think that is an issue in FDS, we need to resovle it in the next release.You can manually update the derived asset.

However, I have question about the Mirror. Why not check the Reuse the selected objects option when you do mirror?

Hello Xuesong,

oh okay. We will see to that. As i said before it´s merely

cosmetically. Reusing the object somehow changes it´s

orientation, therefore we can´t make use of it in this case.

Could you please share the asset with me by my email  and please show me the how it change orientation? I will look closed at the issue in my machine and check if I can fix it.
